Restaurant Booking Policy

The Tithe Barn Deli/Restaurant is open between 9am and 8pm serving breakfast, lunch and early evening meals, Monday to Sunday. The Barn can accommodate up to 36 guests during each service at one time. The kitchen capacity dictates how many guests we can cater for within each half hour period, in order to ensure that you receive the best level of service from us. We do ask that once you have secured a reservation at a particular time that you adhere to that time. Should you arrive more than 15 minutes after your booking time without forewarning, then you may lose your table to another group.

Tables are allocated on the day by the restaurant team and although we will do everything we can to allocate a table in your preferred area of the dining room, we cannot always guarantee this.

Guests are not permitted to move the dining furniture due to H & S and Fire Regulations.

Group booking deposits

The restaurant's continued viability relies on reservations being honoured by our customers, and adequate notice being given of any changes or cancellations.

A deposit of £5 per person is required for parties of eight people or more. Deposits must be paid within 7 days to secure the booking or paid at the time of reservation, if your booking is within less than 7 days.

Your reservation is only confirmed once the deposit is received. If deposits are not received within this period, your reservation will be cancelled.

Your deposit will be deducted from your final bill.

A pre-order 24 hour in advance for group bookings of eight people or more is required. We cannot guarantee availability on foods but will do our utmost to fulfil your request.

Cancellation policy for group bookings

We require 48 hours' notice for cancellations. Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations within 48 hours prior to the day of booking. The Tithe Barn reserves the right to cancel or alter the booking without notification.

Any reduction in numbers must be notified to the restaurant at least 24 hours prior to booking date, if you fail to notify us within 24 hours a £5 per person surcharge will be added to the bill.

In both cases, we would be happy to rearrange your booking to another date, allowing you to make full use of your deposit at a more convenient time.

The cancellation fee reflects the cost incurred by Tithe Barn in terms of staffing, food, and any lost revenue as a result of turning away other potential bookings.

Where possible, the Tithe Barn team will actively manage restaurant bookings by checking attendance with the main guests/contact we have in our bookings diary.


The premises & surrounding areas are protected by CCTV, footage is recorded and stored remotely for the purposes of Public Safety, Crime Prevention & employee development. The holding company of the information is Marriott Leisure Ltd, LE9 1UW. Registered with the ICO. Footage is available to view on request, where a fee may be levied.

Employee Protection

We promote a healthy environment for our employee’s and we request customer’s to treat our staff with decorum and respect. The management will not tolerate any abusive or threating behaviour, verbal or physical abuse towards our staff or other customers. We reserve the right to refuse and remove customers from the premises who we feel are abusive towards our staff without explanation to safeguard employees and the public.

Special dietary requirements

We can cater for most dietary requirements including Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten Free and Dairy Intolerance but please advise one of our team at the time of booking.

Food on the premises

No food / beverages except those supplied by Tithe Barn can be consumed on the premises other than baby food.


If you are having a celebration at Tithe Barn we do a variety of Cakes to order. Please ask a member of our team at the time of booking and they will advise on the choices available. Unfortunately, we cannot permit guests to bring in their own celebration cakes due to H & S regulations.

We do not permit confetti, party string or poppers into the premises.

Special Requirements

Please advise a member of our team if you have any special requirements i.e. Wheelchair access, pushchairs, Guide Dogs etc.

Regrettably pets are not permitted inside the premises, with the exception of Guide or Assisted Dogs.


The lead booking name will be responsible for the actions and behaviour of all members of their party. Tithe Barn reserves the right to recover the cost of any damages or losses however caused.
